Had an amazing experience at Authentic Thai Leo Vietnamese Cuisine! The Chicken Pho was incredibly flavorful and comforting, and the Shrimp Summer Rolls were fresh, light, and absolutely delicious. Everything tasted authentic and was beautifully presented. The staff were super friendly and welcoming—their recommendations were spot-on and really enhanced the meal. Excellent food and even better hospitality. Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving real Vietnamese flavors!

This was a nice experience. The menu is extensive. We had a curry and udon, along with two different types of fresh rolls with shrimp—one with crispy shrimp and the other with just shrimp. The food was really good. We also had a couple of warm desserts: the sago pudding and mango sticky rice. Both were excellent. Their bubble tea was nice—not your classic Asian bubble tea, but definitely enjoyable. The Thai coffee had an odd barbecue aftertaste. When I told the server, he took me seriously and let me try some of the actual coffee syrup. So, the aftertaste comes from the syrup—it’s not because of how they made it or whatever. They didn’t bill me for it, so it’s all good. That said, the place was good and we will be back. The coffee issue was minor, and the food was great. The service was attentive. Not inexpensive, but worth it. EDIT: Edited to reflect that I was not billed for the drink. Thank you, Champa!

We went for lunch. Service was quick. Excellent Lao and Thai food. Authentic. Delicious. We had the Lao style 'fried rice' dish nam khao and stir fry and Lao sausage Sai Gok with sticky rice and chili sauce. They have a special with fresh durian shakes right now. So tasty and unique to Waterloo. They also have laarb / larb. Made with chicken or beef or pork and super authentic style.

I was very excited to try this place because there aren’t many Laotian restaurants. We came on a week day evening so it was not too busy. We were greeted and seated promptly wherever we preferred. The waiter was patient with us with the menu - there are a wide variety of options! We got the 51 Crispy duck with spicy peanut sauce, 18 Spicy beef salad sticky rice and tripe, 53 Champa special fry rice, 20 tray to share and the 62K Pad kee mao with chicken. Would recommend the crispy duck and pad kee mao! Hope to be back soon to try other dishes.

Champa Kitchen is a true gem! I recently ordered the No. 50 Crispy Noodles with fried chicken for takeout, and the flavors were absolutely exquisite. Each bite was a delightful explosion of fresh, vibrant ingredients that left me feeling completely satisfied and happy. You know a dish is special when it evokes a feeling, and this one truly did. The crispy noodles and perfectly fried chicken were a match made in heaven! Beyond the incredible food, the owner, Linda, is a wonderful presence. Her warmth and passion for her restaurant shine through. If you're looking for authentic and delicious Vietnamese, Lao, and Thai cuisine prepared with love, and especially if you're craving the fantastic No. 50, look no further than Champa Kitchen. Highly recommend!

The crispy duck is 11/10 very crispy, no smell at all and the best part is it's not greasy, it goes well with the sweet chili sauce and there's a good amount of veggies underneath it that you can dip in the peanut sauce. The serving is really good for the price. I love the combination with the mango spring rolls, very refreshing! Try the mango dessert too! It's very fresh!

My new favorite spot to eat in KW. The duck, curry, pad Thai, spring rolls and soups are incredible. I can't wait to try more items from their menu. Good portions for reasonable prices. I highly highly recommend.

My first time there will not be my last! Can’t wait to bring more people. 2 of us got 3 appetizers and shared a main of pad Thai, plus a drink and dessert each. Everything was delicious, especially the pork and coconut patties that had a hint of lemongrass. The desserts were fun, and they had a really excellent coconut pudding that I could have! (Can’t do lactose.) service was also fantastic, and the location was comfortable. 10/10!
